Winghead

The Folks of Login who had white wings more beautiful than the Ivory Towers on their head,
were called the heaven's ambassadors by the outsiders.
The wings were vestigial organs of the parasites that the ancient hominids were infected,
and the organs made it to survive inside Logins, unlike us.

The wings start to grow faster from the adolescence,
and they get strong enough to fly away in thirties,
leaving the body behind.
